Autumnal Gardening
It’s not the end of the season yet!
Now is the perfect time to plant bulbs ready for Spring next year, Crocus, Daffodils, Tulips and Alliums are but a few of the many bulbs that can be planted now for colour after a long winter!
Always be sure to read the label to know how far down to plant your bulb and ensure that your bulb is facing with the pointed end up, if you are unsure which end is the pointed end, lay your bulb on the side, it will soon sort itself out.
Autumn is the perfect time for foraging for berries-
Blackberries, Elderberries, Hawthorn, Rosehip and Sloe are in abundance and if you are handy in the kitchen these berries are perfect for making jams, flavouring cordials, baking into pies or even gin 😉
The latest trend is creating an outside room, what better way than creating a cosy space to hang out, de-stress from a long day at work and enjoy some crisp fresh autumn air,
Adding cushions, fairy lights and candles creates that warm comfy feeling on a late autumn night, perfect for hanging around the fire-pit with friends and family or hunkering down with a good book.
